Happy Valentine's Day!

On Friday, Kit had a Valentine's Day party at school. There was Burger King, cookies, cupcakes, and a ton of other stuff to eat. They got balloons, decorated their bags, drew on the paper covering their desk, and mostly had a wild time. I sure do thank my blessings everyday that I am a mother who gets to go to all of her parties and programs.

Then for Valentine's DAY, I sort of invited ourselves to Jason and Jennifer's dinner plans. I was told they were going to "market" and I was intrigued. Shopping on Valentine's day? I would love some more retail therapy! Turns out "market" is actually "The Market" restaurant. And they now have a tradition of eating there every Valentine's Day since many years back, Jason did not make reservations for dinner on that oh so busy night and after trying to get on a waiting list anywhere in town that was less than 2 hours, they found this little place and have been coming there for 6 or 7 years now. And with each year the couple group gets larger.

We all had a blast; laughing, telling stories, and eating! But the best thing was when we were all headed out, guess who forgot to take the tag off his shirt? Jason! Did you know that he wears a 32/33 large!?! We all had full belly roll laughs at that.

Thank you to my friends for inviting us and letting us have some very happy and quality adult time. God bless you guys!

Blessing of the Animals

Again this year we had Blessing of the Animals day at school. We brought Lilly this year. I figured little is better this year since John was on shift and we had Brother with us. I didn't think I need a big dog to drag around too.

And let me say it was pure chaos again this year but the kids always have so much fun. This year we had a ton of dogs, a few cats, turtles, hamsters, horses, miniature pony, goats, and butterflies.

Here's Kit's best friend, Emma getting her turtle, "Katlynn", blessed. BTW, we have a fish named Emma.

She's 4! Happy Birthday, Kit!

Little miss had a wonderful Princess and Prince themed 4 year old birthday party. Her family friends and friends from school came. All the girls were dressed as princesses. There was coloring, a castle "pin-la-ta" (how Kit says pinata), music, and of course cake and ice cream! Mom (again, what am I thinking?!) made the cake. It was a pink castle cake and I do have to say, it was a huge hit. She got tons of toys and had a blast! I think this was her best party ever.

Brother also had a little treat. His little "girlfriend", Kylie, was able to come. She is 2 months younger than him. They had so much fun playing together. Well it was mostly uncontrolled head bobbing and arm swinging. ha.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today was a very productive day.
- I was able to get the kids out of the house this morning wearing green so we wouldn't get pinched. I tried explaining to Kit why but it really doesn't make sense even to me.
- We picked out and ordered Audrey's wedding dress and Jasmine and my bridesmaid dresses.
- And tonight, we all went to Painted Poppy for some relaxing time together followed by dinner. I am having so much fun with all this family time together, wish it could be like this all the time. Love you all!

Carson's FaBULouSly CHiC Baby Shower

My friends gave me a baby shower recently since I needed boy clothes for this little guy. (I saved everything from when Katlynn was a baby so I was good there) And let me tell you, it was fabulously chic. And where else to have it than Kim's shop, The Painted Poppy!

Jennifer and Katrina were in charge of putting the party together, Heather made this beautiful cake, and Kim painted this wonderful canvas to match Carson's room. Other wonderful friends that shared this fun filled day were Meme, Grannie Theresa, Aimee, and of course the boys were there to make it a little even for Carson, ha.

I do have some great friends in my life and I cherish each and everyone of them. Thank you ladies!
